It’s nice to combine two important touristic destinations in Naples area: Pompeii, the most visited open-air museum in Italy, and Capri, the fashioned romantic island. Culture and leisure, eventually walking and swimming are combined to spend a funny day. A car with a private driver will take us back and forth from your cruise ship. To go to Pompeii it takes half an hour, a satisfactory tour of the ruins lasts 2 hours, then the car takes us back to the port of Naples, where we take the hydrofoil to the island of Capri and arrive in about 40 minutes. A nice tour of the city of Capri lasts at least two hours: we arrive at the port of Capri Marina Grande, and from there the funicular-cable train drives us to the main square “piazzetta” where we can have a walk through its narrow alleys of the medieval neighborhood, its elegant roads of Italian fashion brand stores and its beautiful gardens.
